Advance Technology Academy (ATA) L02080 was incorporated under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965 on March 31, 2009. The goal of establishing this Certified Center is to conduct Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) to answer the call of the Malaysian government to increase the number of Malaysian citizens who have technical skills in certain fields. ATA has chosen to conduct Skills Courses in the field of Welding, which is very lacking in Malaysia to meet industry needs, especially in the oil and gas industry, the shipping industry, manufacturing industry, workshops and the construction sector. ATA has been training Malaysian youth, especially from the B40 group, in the field of welding since 2009 and ATA will continue this mission to produce more graduates who will continue to excel in their careers and take leadership roles in their industries. ATA is led by a leading economic figure, Prof Dr Baharom Abdul Hamid, as chairman in leading this dynamic group towards realizing the aspiration of employability with high income through skills training.
