The company operates a water reclamation plant (WRP) in Setia Alam, Selangor, which currently produces 4 million liters of reclaimed water per day. This plant is expected to supply 7.5 million liters per day. Central Water's initiative supports the government's target to recycle 33% of the nation's treated effluent by 2030 under the Green Technology Master Plan. The company's business includes water main and line construction, purification, and distribution of water for water supply purposes. The company will be working with Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) to jointly manage a WRP at Setia Alam and is expected to take over and commence operations of the first water reclamation treatment plant in Setia Alam by the second quarter of 2021. The company is looking to channel a total of 247 million liters of recycled water per day for the Klang Valley area.
