Clearwater Developments Sdn Bhd ( “CW” ) is a property development and lifestyle company, founded in 2004 with the intention to develop boutique residences incorporating lifestyle and resort elements and offerings the best boutique hotels and residences in the region focusing more on detail and quality rather than quantity. Clearwater was formed by a group of friends from the architectural, design, development, financial and hotel industry who had initially conceived the idea of developing a small conclave of apartments for their personal habitat. Disillusioned with many of the large scale and corporate projects whereby detailing was often sacrificed for more practical aspects of a development, the founders wanted to develop a project, which they together with their friends and family would want to stay in. Since its inception in 2014, Clearwater Group has expanded its projects throughout Malaysia. Clearwater’s mantra is adopted from a quotation, “Shrug off the constraints you have allowed others to place upon you.” The partners have formed the company with the objective of developing projects that they would be proud of thus requiring a culture of “thinking out of the box” as well as focus on detailing and quality.
