HERBITEC (M) SDN BHD was incorporated in September 2006, is a bioscience company producing herbal preparations derived from botanical extracts. They utilize proprietary extraction methods of active compounds, also the ingredient formulation proprietor, product holder and register holder of trademarks and patent. HERBITEC researchers with a wealth of knowledge in herbal plants and traditional medicine practices have conducted Research and Development (R&D) into modern technologies in herbal plant active ingredient extraction, blending and standardization of botanical compounds for many years. HERBITEC's products include NODEN, a complementary and alternative medicine traditionally used for fever and cold, and Livarton, a supplement for liver health. They are collaborating with Universiti Malaya on clinical trials for NODEN as a treatment for dengue fever.
