iSHARP (Integrated Shrimp Aquaculture Park) is a 1000-hectare shrimp farm located in Setiu, Terengganu. It is a modern facility equipped with an ecological shrimp hatchery that enables sustainable farming activities. iSHARP is an initiative to promote cooperation between the private sector, the Terengganu State Government, and the Federal Government to stimulate and modernize the aquaculture industry. It produces high-quality and certified products for the premium market and develops a Malaysian brand in the international market. iSHARP also provides job opportunities to help generate income in rural areas, especially in the district of Setiu, and creates business opportunities and economic activities for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the aquaculture industry with support. The first phase of iSHARP, completed in 2011, included 432 hectares with 255 ponds with a production capacity of 3,000MT per year and a Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) hatchery with a production capacity of 720 million shrimp larvae per year.
