Langkawi Nature Park (LNP) is a 50-acre nature and mangrove reserve within the Greater Kilim Geoforest Park, part of the larger Langkawi Geopark. The Park features an 800-meter elevated boardwalk into a mangrove forest (35 acres) and a zoological section (8-10 acres), providing a sanctuary for diverse flora and fauna. The park is a recreational park situated in the Greater Kilim Geoforest Park area on Langkawi Island. The park has reopened in phases since December 2023. The zoological section features an aviary and several enclosures for large wildlife species. As of January 2024, guests will only have access to viewing hyenas, the aviary and deerland. The park also serves as a zoological sanctuary and has rehomed wildlife collections from other zoos. The park is planning to extend its operating hours until 10 PM. Langkawi Nature Park Sdn Bhd has managed the park since it was shuttered by the Pandemic in March 2020. Langkawi Nature Park is more than just a destination—it’s a celebration of wildlife and conservation in a breathtaking natural setting.
