LCY Development Sdn Bhd (LCY), founded in 1997 by Francis Lau Choo Yew, is a Brunei-based construction company specializing in building and civil engineering projects. The company rapidly expanded, completing over 130 projects, including those for the Brunei government and private sectors, with a total value exceeding B$400 million over the past decade. LCY has built an enviable reputation for its innovative and efficient management approach, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. LCY is expanding into other ASEAN/Asia Pacific countries. Francis Lau has also co-founded multiple companies in Brunei and Malaysia, specializing in housing development and land investment. He also co-founded and is the Managing Partner of L&L Group of Companies in Australia. The incorporation of LCY and its groups of companies has created over 1,000 job opportunities locally and overseas.
