Malaysian Maritime & Dredging Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (MMDC) was formed in June 2002 with the aim of engaging in activities related to the Marine Engineering Industry, specifically to Provide specialised Marine Engineering Services includes Dredging, Land Reclamation, and construction of jetties; wharves break waters and other coastal protection units. MMDC also Create, expand and enhance Bumiputra expertise in Marine Engineering to undertake privatization schemes and enter into Design and Construction agreements in Malaysia and Overseas in particular the East Asian Region. MMDC is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company which draws upon the technical, financial and operational expertise of its own Managers, Surveyors and Engineers. MMDC employs modern planning, engineering and surveying techniques to undertake a project from beginning up to completion and post construction stage. To date MMDC continues to expand and invest in procuring its own fleet of plants and equipment to deliver its services timely and efficiently. MMDC is focused in developing its own construction methods and utilising modern equipment to undertake more complex and challenging jobs in future.
