MWI which was incorporated on March 19, 2021, and officially started operations on June 1, 2022. MWI is a training center that aims to produce a competent workforce for water operators, contractors, vendors, and plumbers. MWI aims to help water supply operators nationwide in ensuring the targets of the key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) are met, namely the requirement for staff recognized as qualified people to operate Water Treatment Plants and Water Distribution.
